1. What got you started blogging?Well, let me see...I had entirely too much time on my hands. I was reading a lot, I mean, every minute of every day. I am a stay-at-home mom and needed contact with the real world. I started roaming the internet, checking out these wonderful blogs and I though, hey I can do that, so I did.

2. What makes your blog unique?

I have only been blogging for a short time and haven't done a lot of things but there are a couple of things I do that I haven't seen on other blogs.

When I review a book, I always do a character analysis. I mean, these are the people you will love or hate. They are important and deserve to be noticed.

Secondly, I have a "Shout-Out" page on my blog to recognize other bloggers who have made a difference to me. Some I have won books from, some awards, and others had an unique or intriguing post I liked. It's a little more than putting their button on my sidebar.

3. If you could have a tell with one person-who and why? (You are asking the questions)
I would love to talk to Andrea Cremer about the complexity of her characters in "Nightshade" and "Wolfsbane."

4. Do you have any pet peeves about blogging??
Yes...spelling, grammer, and common courtesy. We all review books we don't care for, but be professional. Authors, vouchers, and your readers deserve respect...even if you don't like what they have to say.

5. Favorite Paranormal creature?
Andrea Cremer's Guardians or Amy Plum's Revenants from "Before I Die."

6. Its 2012 and its the end of the world what would you do??
Take all my books...

7. Favorite YA authors right now?
Andrea Cremer, Amy Plum, HM Ward, and Josephine Angelini

8. If I could live anywhere?
I would have to say Houston, Tx. I am a Texas girl and just can't imagine living anywhere else, but I like the big city feel and want to be close to the ocean.

10. Got any good advice for new bloggers?

Yes, read, write, and share. Get out and join some blog hops to get your blog noticed. Promote, promote, promote. But most important...have fun.

That is a tough one because I listen to everything from classical to rap but not ever just one CD. Favorite song right now...TGIF by Katy Perry because it is a fun upbeat summer song. And it brings back memories.
